What Is The Nissan Sentra Navigation Package?

The Nissan Sentra is a compact car powered by a 130 HP 1.8l 4-cylinder engine that drives the front wheels through either a 6-speed manual or Xtronic CVT continuously variable transmission. The Navigation Package is available as an option on the Sentra SR, SL, and SV (all of which come only with the CVT). The system includes NissanConnect with Navigation, a 5.8” QVGA color touch-screen monitor, voice recognition, SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link, Bluetooth streaming audio, a hands-free text messaging assistant, and RearView Monitor. NissanConnect is a connected-car system that uses your smartphone and the touch-screen monitor to run apps that let you play music, use social networking, and get navigatation assistance. The RearView Monitor system uses a camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle to display the area behind the car on the screen when the transmission is shifted into reverse while the text messaging assistant lets you send and receive text messages using voice control. The navigation system uses a real time map display and turn by turn voice instructions to get you to your destination.
