What Is The Lexus Luxury Package?

The Lexus Luxury Package is available on many of their models, including the IS, ES, and GS sedans, the IS convertible, the CT hybrid, and the RX and LX SUVs. The Ultra Luxury Package is available on the ES and LS sedans.

On the IS sedan the Luxury Package includes twin projector LED headlights, rain-sensing intermittent wipers, and auto-dimming electrochromatic side mirrors. The interior gets wood and perforated leather interior trim, heated and ventilated front seats, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, and the Lexus Memory system to store the driver’s seat, steering column and exterior mirror settings. The Lexus Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is also included. If you step up to the Luxury and Technology Package you also get the Lane Departure Alert system and intelligent high-beam headlamps.

The Luxury Package for the IS convertible is similar to the one for the IS sedan, except that Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is not included, the power tilting and telescoping steering column is replaced by illuminated door sill plates, the leather is upgraded to semi-aniline, the electrochromatic side mirrors automatically tilt downwards when the car is shifted into reverse, the Lexus Memory System also controls the passenger seat, and the headlights are Bi-Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) units with auto-leveling and LED daytime running lights. The Luxury and Technology Package is not available on the convertible.

# What Is The Lexus Luxury Package?

The ES sedan with the Luxury Package includes everything in the Premium Package: wood interior trim, a power tilting and telescoping steering wheel, the Lexus Memory System for the driver’s seat, outside mirrors, and steering column, and remote keyless entry linked to the Memory System. The Luxury Package adds a perforated leather-trimmed interior and heated and ventilated front seats. Stepping up to the Ultra Luxury Package gets you semi-aniline leather, a driver’s seat power cushion extender, ambient interior lighting, a panorama glass roof, and a power rear sunshade with manual rear door sunshades.

If you opt for the Luxury Package on the GS you will add rain-sensing windshield wipers, the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS), 18” nine spoke alloy wheels, and an Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Inside you get wood and semi-aniline leather trim, heated and ventilated 18-way adjustable front seats, Lexus Memory System to control the front seats, outside mirrors, and steering column, rear-seat climate and audio controls, a power rear sunshade, and rear door manual sunshades. Hybrid models also get Bi-LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and dynamic auto leveling.

The LS is Lexus’ top of the line sedan, and as such includes most of the items found in the other cars’ Luxury Packages. There is an available Ultra Luxury package that includes four-zone climate control with Climate Concierge, climate-comfort front and rear outboard seats, and a power trunk lid. Rear seat passengers also get power adjustable outboard seats with memory, lumbar support, massage, and adjustable headrests, climate and audio controls in the center armrest, an air purifier, a cool box (except on hybrid models), power rear and rear door sunshades, and rear seat mounted side airbags.

The CT hybrid’s Luxury Package comes with perforated leather interior trim and heated power adjustable front seats with the Lexus Memory System to control the driver’s seat and outside mirrors. The package also includes rain-sensing windshield wipers, electrochromatic side and rearview mirrors, and HomeLink universal garage door opener.

The Luxury Package on the RX SUV comes with the Blind Spot Monitor system on F SPORT models. All models with the Luxury Package get LED headlights and foglights, headlight washers, auto-dimming side mirrors, roof rails, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof with sliding sunshade, and 19” alloy wheels. The passenger compartment is trimmed in semi-aniline perforated leather with a wood and leather shift knob and steering wheel (chrome and leather on some hybrid models). Other upgrades include power front seat cushion extenders, the Lexus Memory System for the driver’s seat, outside mirrors, and steering column, a rear armrest storage compartment, smog-sensing automatic recirculation mode for the climate control system, a 2-prong AC outlet, and LED illuminated door sills.

The LX gets a Luxury Package that includes wood trim, a semi-aniline perforated leather trimmed interior, heated and ventilated front seats, heated middle row seats, a heated steering wheel, a center console mounted cool box, and the Lexus SmartAccess card key.
