What Is The Audi A6 Prestige Package?

The Audi A6 is a 4 door mid-sized luxury car, available with a choice of engines, and either in front wheel or all wheel drive. The Prestige package is the top of the line trim level, and is only available with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system. Engines choice for the Prestige package are the gasoline powered 3.0l Supercharged V6 that makes 310 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque, and the diesel powered 3.0l Turbocharged V6 that puts out 240 HP and 428 lb-ft of torque. No matter which engine you choose, it is backed by an eight speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.

Includes Everything on the Premium Plus Trim

The Prestige package includes everything that comes standard on the mid-range Premium plus trim level, including LED taillights and rear fog lights, heated windshield washer nozzles, auto-dimming interior rear view mirror, heated front seats, Audi MMI Navigation plus with voice control system, MMI touch with handwriting recognition technology, Audi music interface with iPod integration, BLUETOOTH, HomeLink garage door opener, Audi drive select, and Audi advanced key for keyless start, stop, and entry.

Standard Features

The Prestige trim level then adds even more standard features. You get Adaptive xenon plus headlights, power-folding heated exterior side mirrors with memory, Audi S line® exterior appearance, Four-zone automatic climate control, Audi side assist blind spot monitoring with pre sense rear collision detection, and a 630 watt BOSE Surround Sound System with 14 speakers and AudioPilot noise-compensation. You also get perforated leather seating surfaces with ventilation, and twelve-way power front seats with four-way power lumbar adjustment.

Optional Items

Optional on the Prestige trim level are Full LED headlights, Manual rear-side window and power rear window sunshades, Rear-passenger thorax side airbags, and a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System. A black cloth headliner is a no cost option. If you live in an area with a cooler climate, a Cold Weather package with heated rear seats is available.

Innovation Package

The Innovation package includes Night vision assistant with pedestrian detection and a head-up display. The Driver Assistance package includes Audi active lane assist, adaptive cruise control (with stop & go), top and corner view camera system, and the Audi pre sense plus system that uses the car’s brakes to help avoid or minimize accidents.

Black Optic Package

The Black Optic package includes 20” Titanium finish wheels with 255/35-20 summer performance tires, a black Audi Singleframe grille, and body-colored exterior side mirrors. The 20" Sport package comes with 10-spoke V design wheels and 255/35-20 summer performance tires. If you’re looking for the best handling, the 19” Sport package is the way to go, with 19" 5 double-spoke design wheel with 255/40 all-season tires, a three-spoke multifunction sport steering wheel with shift paddles, and Sport suspension calibration.
