What Is Audi Dynamic Steering?

Audi dynamic steering is a system that changes the steering ratio and weight depending on vehicle speed. When the vehicle is traveling at highway speeds the system becomes more indirect, meaning that the steering wheel has to be turned more to turn the car's wheels the same amount, making the car less nervous and easier to keep in a straight line. At medium to low speeds the system because a bit more direct, increasing steering responsiveness. When parking the system becomes even more direct, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces, and requiring less turning of the steering wheel. The dynamic steering system is only available on vehicles equipped with Audi drive select.
