Deep into the holiday season, it's no surprise that there's a long list of great rebates and incentives on new cars and trucks waiting for you at your local dealership.  This week's list kicks off with the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder full-size crossover and its offer of zero percent financing plus $500 cash back, or $2,000 in total factory cash rebates, followed by the 2014 Hyundai Genesis full-size sedan and its combination of 2.9% financing plus $500 in cash back.  The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan can be had with the choice between 2.9% financing or $2,000 in cash back, while the 2014 Lincoln MKT full-size crossover delivers zero percent financing plus $2,000 in factory cash back.  The last entry on our most recent roundup is the 2014 Dodge Journey mid-size crossover and its promise of 0.9% financing plus $1,000 cash back.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is all new for the current model year, bringing with it a revised platform that trades in off-road chops for on-pavement comfort.  The Nissan Pathfinder is a full-size crossover that can transport seven passengers or just under 80 cubic feet of cargo.

Under the hood, the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder boasts a 260 horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6.  Also capable of generating 240 lb-ft of torque, this motor is yoked to a continuously-variable automatic transmission and returns fuel mileage of 20-mpg in city driving and 26-mpg on the highway.  All-wheel drive is also available with the Pathfinder as an option.

2014 Hyundai Genesis

The 2014 Hyundai Genesis provides premium full-size sedan fare at a more affordable price than some of its competitors.  The Hyundai Genesis is loaded with comfort features, and it also comes with one of the best warranties in the luxury business.

The 2014 Hyundai Genesis starts out with a 3.8-liter V-6 that is rated at 333 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque, matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission.  Fuel mileage for the six-cylinder Genesis shows as 18-mpg around town and 28-mpg on the highway.  The Genesis 5.0 R-Spec introduces a 5.0-liter V-8 that grinds out 429 horses and 376 lb-ft of torque while making use of the same gearbox.

2014 Chevrolet Cruze

The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze is the best compact sedan to have ever been built by General Motors.  Available in a variety of configurations, the Cruze is economical, pleasant to drive, and reasonably roomy for its class.

The 2014 Chevrolet Cruze is initially equipped with a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder motor that produces 138 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque.  A step up is available in the form of a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that matches the larger motor's horsepower but ups torque to 148 lb-ft.  A 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder can be ordered as well, and it offers 151 horsepower, 264 lb-ft of twist, and fuel mileage of 27-mpg in city driving and 46-mpg during highway cruising.  A mix of six-speed manual and automatic transmissions can be ordered with the Cruze.

2013 Lincoln MKT

The 2013 Lincoln MKT is an unusually-styled luxury crossover that can seat as many as seven passengers.  Loaded with technology, the Lincoln MKT is also capable of swallowing 75.9 cubic feet of cargo with the rear rows out of the picture.

The 2013 Lincoln MKT's base motor is a 3.7-liter V-6 that can be counted on to provide 303 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque.  Fuel mileage for this motor is listed at 17-mpg in stop and go driving and 25-mpg on the highway.  The MKT can also be ordered with an EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6 that wrings 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque from its 3.5-liters.  Both engines are matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, and while all-wheel drive is optional with the entry-level MKT, it is standard with the EcoBoost model.

2014 Dodge Journey

The 2014 Dodge Journey offers six-passenger mid-size crossover accommodations to anyone looking for an alternative to the traditional family minivan.  The Dodge Journey's car-like ride is additionally buttressed by 67.6 cubic feet of interior space for luggage.

The 2014 Dodge Journey's 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine - included free of charge - is rated to produce 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque, while its optional 3.6-liter V-6 ups the ante to 283 horses and 260 lb-ft of twist.  Transmission choices include four and six-speed automatics, and all-wheel drive is also available with the Dodge.  The four-cylinder unit's fuel economy carries the day with a rating of 19-mpg city and 26-mpg highway.
