One of the big advantages of leasing a luxury SUV is the availability of deals with a low price of entry. Generally speaking, financing a vehicle for purchase requires a down payment, usually at least 20 percent, depending on your credit rating.

Leasing is different, because while you take responsibility for a vehicle for an established term, you don’t own the vehicle. You pay for its use, and for the depreciation that occurs during your term. Your accountant can tell you about potential tax benefits for business use, another leasing strength. But the consistent advantage of leasing over the years has been less cash out of pocket to get started. The best deals can be amazingly good. We’ve found some 0% down luxury SUV lease deals to get you thinking about how affordable life can be. They're listed alphabetically over the following pages.

2019 Acura RDX

The 2019 Acura RDX is all-new for the model year, riding on a platform that is not shared with any other vehicle in the Honda/Acura universe. Built in Ohio for the North American market, it is the best-selling compact luxury crossover vehicle in the U.S., and it has experienced 12 consecutive months of sales growth, year-over-year.

With a 0% down payment, a three-year/30,000-mile lease runs $620 per month with $620 due at signing. If you can muster $2,999 at signing, a featured standard lease for well-qualified lessees who currently own a 2009 or newer Acura, Honda, Cadillac XT5, Cadillac SRX, or Lexus RX runs just $379 per month — a screaming deal. You face just $0.15 per mile in overage charges if you exceed 30,000 miles during the 36-month term.

2019 Audi Q8

The 2019 Q8 is the latest addition to the Audi suv lineup, and it’s a big one. If you’re looking for a 0% down lease on a luxury SUV, a Q8 Premium S5 TFSI with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine and Quattro all-wheel drive can be leased for 36 months with 15,000 miles annual mileage for a payment of $1,083.40 per month.

The purchase price on that trim level of Q8 is $68,395, which means that a 36-month loan with $0 down payment and a 5 percent interest rate would run $2,046.86 per month. So a lease for the same term could be a good choice if your cash flow is tight but credit is excellent.

2019 BMW X5 xDrive40i

The only thing better than driving a 2019 BMW X5 is driving an X5 with no money down. The X5 is BMW’s first SUV — actually, BMW prefers to call it an SAV, meaning Sports Activity Vehicle.

The capable and performance-oriented three-row crossover delivers on that name, with great driving dynamics (as you’d expect from a BMW vehicle). With a 10,000-mile-per-year allowance for a 36-month term, a 2019 BMW X5 xDrive40i runs $877.77 per month on a lease with 0% down. If you drive more than that, you’ll have to pony up $925.35 per month for 15,000 miles per year. At least you’ll be racking up those miles in one of the most enjoyable luxury SUVs.

2019 Cadillac Escalade

When it comes to getting the most for your money, it’s hard to find a better illustration of the concept than the 2019 Cadillac Escalade. A current offer from Cadillac includes $1,000 cash back, no security deposit, and a 0% down payment.

For a 36-month term with an annual allowance of 10,000 miles, the monthly payment is $1,053, the same amount that is due upon signing (plus tax, title, license, and dealer fees). The Escalade has been a bright spot in the Cadillac lineup through some very tough years for the brand, because it is the very icon of large luxury SUVs. Picture any VIP motorcade, and you’ll realize that the Escalade has supplanted the traditional limousine when it’s time to convey power and status.

2019 Infiniti QX80

While the 2019 Infiniti QX80 may not be on the top of everyone’s list when it comes to luxury SUVs, perhaps it should be. The QX80 is a three-row body-on-frame luxury SUV that combines smooth driving dynamics with a high-tech infotainment system and superb fit and finish inside and out. Available features like semi-aniline quilted leather seating surfaces with Alcantara inserts and open-pore ash wood trim with a matte silver finish create a unique, lavish sense of luxury on the interior.

A 39-month lease with 10,000 miles per year and a 0% down payment runs $760 per month with $760 due at signing thanks to special pricing and an adjusted capitalized cost. In the context of other full-size luxury SUV leases with 0% down, this qualifies as a bargain.

2019 Lexus RX

There’s a good case to be made that the RX was the original luxury crossover SUV. It is certainly one of the all-time best-sellers in its class.

The 2019 Lexus RX 350 can be leased with 0% down by customers who qualify with excellent credit. A 36-month lease with 15,000 miles allowed per year will run $907 per month. No down payment or security deposit is required, just the first month’s payment, a $795 acquisition fee, and applicable tax, title, license, and dealer fees. The RX is now in its fourth generation of production since debuting as a 1998 model, an impressive run for the mid-size luxury SUV that anchors Lexus’ lineup.

2019 Lincoln Navigator

Forget the rumors that big body-on-frame luxury SUVs are on the way out. The Lincoln Navigator got a total makeover for the 2018 model year, and it's selling at a rate not seen since the Cash-for-Clunkers era.

The Navigator is unique among full-size luxury SUVs for its 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, which produces 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, while its closest competitors still use naturally aspirated V8s. A 0% down lease deal on the 2019 Lincoln Navigator will run $1,041 per month for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year allowed. No security deposit is required, and the lease starts with $1,041 due upon signing, plus tax, license, title, and dealer fees.

2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class

The flagship of the Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup, the GLS-Class was renamed (from GL) in 2017 to associate more closely with the S-Class flagship sedan. The GLS is a large, three-row luxury SUV that is available with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 in the GLS 450 trim, a 4.7-liter turbocharged V8 in the GLS 550, or a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in the AMG GLS 63.

Why not dream big? The 2019 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 can be leased with 0% down for $2,279 per month on a 36-month lease with 12,000 miles per year allowed. You’ll get 577 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque to use for every one of those miles, packed into one of the most luxurious and technologically advanced luxury SUVs on the market.

2019 Porsche Cayenne

When Porsche introduced the Cayenne luxury SUV as a 2003 model, it represented a major sea change for the German sports car manufacturer. Now that the two-row Cayenne is in its third generation of production, it is hard to imagine the Porsche lineup without it.

In fact, Porsche has since added the Macan compact crossover and Panamera sedan to its offerings — and it has only enhanced the brand’s appeal with a wider audience. The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is the luxury SUV's sportiest, best-handling, and performing edition yet, and a rewarding vehicle for lease or purchase. A 0% down lease for a base-model 2019 Cayenne starts at $953 per month for a 36-month term with 12,000 miles allowed per year. Tax, title, license, and dealer fees are extra, but the smile on your face each time you are behind the wheel is included at no extra charge.
