GM's Front Automatic Braking system, available in the 2014 Buick Regal, has helped the car earn a "Superior" grade in recent testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The technology can detect potential forward collisions, provide warnings to the driver, and, if necessary, automatically engage the brakes of the 2014 Buick Regal in an attempt to prevent an impact.
The IIHS honor is in addition to the 2014 Buick Regal's 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and also is further evidence of the Buick brand's comprehensive approach to occupant protection.
