The 65th annual IAA International Motor Show is being held in Frankfurt am Main, Germay beginning September 12, 2013 through the 22nd. With over 900,000 visitors in 2011, the 300+ exhibitors not only showcase new concepts and cars, anything automotive is included from motorcycles, parts, aftermarket accessories, and test drives. "The World's Most Automobile Show" has some pretty interesting reveals this year, so let's take a look.

Before the C-X17 was revealed, no one was quite sure what a Jaguar Crossover would look like. Fortunately, it retains Jaguar design cues without being overly extravagant. Of lightweight unibody construction, it features a panoramic roof and a premium leather interior.

Infiniti's Q30 concept anticipates Gen X and Gen Y becoming the largest group of premium buyers with a roomy interior and a higher stance for the city driver. Visually, the flowing curves and violet highlighting one has come to expect from Infiniti is still present on the beefed-up crossover, accented with carbon fiber in the grille and sides to keep the weight down.

At long last, the production BMW i8 plug-in hybrid was revealed, along with the pricing. The design stays fairly true to the original concept, save for the now-opaque doors. Come 2014, it will be available in the United States in the spring at a suggested price of $135,925.

Another concept from BMW, the Concept Active Tourer Outdoor. A plug-in hybrid, this little four-door hatch features an integrated, space-saving bike carrier.

Porsche also has a stunning hybrid sportscar in the 918 Spyder. Using design and technology from Porsche's deep racing history, it features two removable carbon fiber roof panels, a cooling circuit dedicated to the lithium-ion battery - going up to speeds of 93 mph.

Mercedes' Concept S-Class Coupé was revealed in Frankfurt. While the convex body line is familiar, the hood is accented with a bit of muscle. Powering the sleek coupe is a V8 Biturbo engine. Dual cameras create 3-D views and also combine to detect uneven surfaces for a smooth, safe drive.

Celebrating one hundred years of automotive manufacturing, Aston Martin brought its CC100 Speedster Concept, along with the Vanquish Volante and the V12 Vantage S.

Another compact crossover concept was revealed by luxury brand Lexus. Fronted by the signature Lexus grille with contoured mesh and chrome trim, the hybrid LF-NX's interior is accented with a brushed metal finish to echo the exterior "Brushed Metal silver" color.
smart did away with doors and a roof with its four joy concept. The electric four-seater is designed to be fun with two separate front seats and a back seat that is less bench and more circle butterfly chair - with a removable camera.
