When we're talking about all the horsepower gathered at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, we can't forget the true workhorses out on the show floor. Today, we're talking about the best trucks that were on display, and though they're all familiar models, they've all earned their spot on this list. Here's Autobytel's Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Naranjo, with the details on the Fab Five Trucks at this year's LA Auto Show. Let's start with Ford and its long-running, best-selling F-150. The totally redesigned full-size F-150 stands out from the crowd thanks to its all-new all-aluminum body, and, thanks to the weight savings, this new F-150 is powered by a more efficient engine without sacrificing any capability. Also redesigned for 2015 is the Chevy Colorado, a mid-size truck that offers full-size benefits on a new platform. The RAM pickup truck lineup was also a standout at this year's show, particularly the RAM 1500, which is one of the most comfortable pickups on the market due to the coil springs found in its rear suspension. The RAM 1500 also offers a wide range of trim levels with plenty of comfort features in the cabin. The GMC Sierra is the platform sibling to Chevy's Silverado, but the Sierra's the only version to offer the Denali luxury trim with a more upscale cabin and unique exterior styling. Rounding out the group is the Toyota Tundra, providing a lot of flexibility with its cab configurations, drivetrain options, and performance-inspired off-road capabilities.
