Since Automobile Magazine began awarding their "All-Stars" back in 1986, one model has received the All-Star award a staggering seventeen times. That model is the BMW 3-Series. Thanks to its combination of fun-to-drive dynamics and generous range of models, it's easy to see how the famed sedan has become a repeat winner. In 2014, Automobile Magazine named the 3-Series an All-Star for the eighteenth time, alongside its new brother, the 4-Series Coupe.

“The BMW 3 Series is a perennial Automobile Magazine All-Star award winner, with this being its eighteenth year on the list. For 2014, the 3 Series name refers to four-door models, while coupe and convertible versions get the 4 Series badge. The 3 Series/4 Series sums up a lifetime of automotive hopes and dreams for generations of American automotive enthusiasts,” the magazine said about the 3 and 4-Series.
