The Volkswagen Jetta sedan comes in five different trim levels for 2009: S, SE, SEL, Wolfsburg, and TDI. The S, SE, and SEL are powered by a 170-horsepower, 2.5L 5-cylinder engine, matched either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic and sport mode. Top-of-the-range SEL models only offer the automatic. The Wolfsburg is a special edition that gets its power from a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 200 horsepower and 207 ft-lb of torque. It features special badging, premium wheels, and leatherette seating, and can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual or the 6-speed automatic transmission.
